स्वच्छता पखवाड़ा : एनटीपीसी सीपत ने निकाली वृहत स्वच्छता जागरूकता रैली, सामूहिक श्रमदान से दिया जनभागीदारी का संदेश

सीपत । एनटीपीसी सीपत में दिनांक 30 मई 2026 को स्वच्छता पखवाड़ा-2026 के अंतर्गत वृहत् स्वच्छता जागरूकता रैली एवं सामूहिक श्रमदान कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। परियोजना प्रमुख श्री स्वपन कुमार मंडल के नेतृत्व में आयोजित इस अभियान में लगभग 800 लोगों ने सहभागिता की। रैली एनटीपीसी मुख्य द्वार से शुरू होकर सीपत हाट तक लगभग 1.5 किलोमीटर की दूरी तय करते हुए निकाली गई, जिसमें स्वच्छता को जनभागीदारी बनाने का संदेश दिया गया।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान एनटीपीसी गेट से सीपत हाट तक चिन्हित लगभग आठ स्थानों पर विशेष श्रमदान कर लंबे समय से जमा कूड़ा-कचरा हटाया गया तथा क्षेत्र को स्वच्छ बनाया गया। इसके अतिरिक्त मुख्य मार्ग से लगे बलदेव तालाब क्षेत्र में भी व्यापक सफाई अभियान चलाया गया। यह क्षेत्र प्रतिदिन बड़ी संख्या में लोगों के आवागमन का केंद्र होने के कारण विशेष महत्व रखता है। इस अभियान के दौरान, विभिन्न स्थलों पर स्वच्छता संबंधी संदेश प्रदर्शित कर नागरिकों से सार्वजनिक स्थानों को स्वच्छ बनाए रखने तथा स्वच्छता अभियान में सक्रिय भागीदारी निभाने की अपील की गई।

इस अभियान में एनटीपीसी सीपत के अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों के साथ उनके परिजन, यूनियन एवं एसोसिएशन के प्रतिनिधि, सीआईएसएफ जवान, बाल भारती पब्लिक स्कूल के शिक्षक एवं छात्र-छात्राएं, स्थानीय पुलिस प्रशासन, संविदा एजेंसियों के कर्मचारी, ठेका श्रमिक, ग्रामीणजन तथा पत्रकारगण बड़ी संख्या में शामिल हुए। सभी प्रतिभागियों ने स्वच्छता के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त करते हुए अभियान में सक्रिय योगदान दिया।

सीपत हाट पहुंचने पर परियोजना प्रमुख, अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों ने स्थानीय नागरिकों एवं व्यापारियों से संवाद कर स्वच्छ परिवेश के सामाजिक, स्वास्थ्य एवं पर्यावरणीय महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने संदेश दिया कि स्वच्छता केवल एक अभियान नहीं, बल्कि समाज के प्रत्येक व्यक्ति की साझी जिम्मेदारी है। सभी उपस्थित लोगों से अपील की गई कि वे स्वच्छता को अपने दैनिक जीवन का अभिन्न हिस्सा बनाएं और अपने आसपास के वातावरण को स्वच्छ, सुंदर एवं स्वस्थ बनाए रखने में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाएं।

ज्ञात हो कि इस अभियान के आयोजन से पूर्व एनटीपीसी सीपत द्वारा सभी हितधारकों—सरपंच, सीआईएसएफ, बाल भारती पब्लिक स्कूल, स्वामी आत्मानंद महाविद्यालय, स्थानीय पुलिस प्रशासन, कॉन्ट्रैक्टिंग एजेंसियों तथा प्रेस क्लब के पत्रकारों—के साथ बैठकें आयोजित की गई थीं। इन बैठकों का उद्देश्य अभियान को सफल बनाना तथा इसमें अधिकाधिक लोगों की सहभागिता सुनिश्चित करना था, ताकि व्यापक जनभागीदारी के माध्यम से स्वच्छता के प्रति जागरूकता का संदेश अधिकतम लोगों तक पहुंचाया जा सके।

रैली के दौरान प्रतिभागियों ने स्वच्छता संबंधी संदेशों के माध्यम से लोगों को अपने आसपास के वातावरण को स्वच्छ रखने तथा स्वच्छ भारत अभियान से सक्रिय रूप से जुड़ने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

इस अवसर पर  सुरोजीत सिन्हा, महाप्रबंधक (प्रचालन एवं अनुरक्षण),  अशोक सरकार, महाप्रबंधक (प्रचालन एवं ईंधन प्रबंधन), विकास खरे, महाप्रबंधक (इंजीनियरिंग), अनुराग गौतम, अपर महाप्रबंधक (मेंटेनेंस), जयप्रकाश सत्यकाम, प्रमुख (मानव संसाधन), सभी विभागाध्यक्ष, वरिष्ठ अधिकारीगण, बाल भारती पब्लिक स्कूल के प्रधानाचार्य  सलभ निगम, सीआईएसएफ के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी, एनटीपीसी सीपत के अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी, उनके परिवारजन, यूनियन एवं एसोसिएशन के प्रतिनिधि, बाल भारती पब्लिक स्कूल के शिक्षक एवं छात्र-छात्राएं, सीपत पुलिस, संविदा एजेंसियों के कर्मचारी, ठेका श्रमिक, ग्रामीणजन तथा पत्रकारगण बड़ी संख्या में उपस्थित रहे।

उल्लेखनीय है कि 16 से 31 मई 2026 तक आयोजित स्वच्छता पखवाड़ा के अंतर्गत एनटीपीसी सीपत द्वारा क्विज प्रतियोगिता, चित्रकला, निबंध लेखन, स्वच्छता शपथ एवं अन्य जनजागरूकता गतिविधियों का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। यह पहल सामुदायिक सहभागिता के माध्यम से स्वच्छ एवं स्वस्थ समाज के निर्माण के प्रति एनटीपीसी सीपत की प्रतिबद्धता को रेखांकित करती है।

Swachhta Pakhwada: NTPC Sipat Organizes Mass Shramdaan with Community Participation

As part of Swachhta Pakhwada 2026, NTPC Sipat organized a large-scale Swachhata Awareness Rally and Mass Shramdaan on 30 May 2026. The initiative, led by Project Head Shri Swapan Kumar Mandal, witnessed the participation of nearly 800 persons. The rally commenced from the NTPC Sipat’s Main Gate and proceeded up to Sipat Haat (Market), covering a distance of approximately 1.5 kilometres while conveying the message of transforming cleanliness into a people’s movement through active public participation.

During the programme, focussed cleanliness drives were undertaken at around eight identified locations between the NTPC Gate and Sipat Haat. Long-accumulated waste and garbage were removed, and the area was cleaned thoroughly. In addition, an extensive cleanliness campaign was carried out at the Baldeva Pond area situated along the main route. The location holds particular significance as it serves as a major centre of daily public movement. During the campaign, cleanliness-related messages were displayed at various locations, and citizens were encouraged to keep public places clean and actively participate in cleanliness initiatives.

The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers and employees of NTPC Sipat along with their family members, representatives of unions and associations, CISF personnel, teachers and students of Bal Bharati Public School, officials of the local police administration, employees of contract agencies, contract workers, local villagers, and members of the media. All participants actively contributed to the campaign and reaffirmed their commitment towards cleanliness.

Upon reaching Sipat Haat, the Project Head, along with officials and employees, interacted with local residents and traders and highlighted the social, health, and environmental importance of maintaining a clean environment. On the occasion, they emphasized that cleanliness is not merely a campaign but a shared responsibility of every member of society. All present were urged to make cleanliness an integral part of their daily lives and to play an active role in maintaining a clean, beautiful, and healthy environment.

Prior to the event, NTPC Sipat had conducted meetings with all stakeholders, including village Sarpanch, CISF personnel, Bal Bharati Public School, Swami Atmanand College, Contracting agencies, and Members of the Press Club. The objective of these meetings was to ensure the success of the campaign and maximize participation so that the message of cleanliness awareness could reach the widest possible audience through collective community involvement.

During the rally, participants spread awareness through cleanliness-related messages and motivated people to keep their surroundings clean and actively contribute to the Swachh Bharat Mission.

The programme was attended by Shri Surojit Sinha, General Manager (Operation & Maintenance); Shri Ashok Sarkar, General Manager (Operation & Fuel Management); Shri Vikas Khare, General Manager (Engineering); Shri Anurag Gautam, Additional General Manager (Maintenance); Shri Jayprakash Satyakam, Head of Human Resources; all Heads of Departments and senior officials; Shri Salabh Nigam, Principal of Bal Bharati Public School; senior CISF officials; officers and employees of NTPC Sipat; their family members; representatives of unions and associations; teachers and students of Bal Bharati Public School; officials of the local police administration; employees of contract agencies; contract workers; local villagers; and members of the media in large numbers.

It is noteworthy that under Swachhta Pakhwada, being observed from 16 to 31 May 2026, NTPC Sipat has been organizing a range of awareness activities including quiz competitions, painting competitions, essay writing competitions, the Swachhta Pledge, and various other outreach programmes. The initiative underscores NTPC Sipat’s commitment to building a cleaner and healthier society through active community participation.
